This pair of love birds are all individually cut, shaped, layered and fused. No piece ever turns out alike. Use Martin's unique fusings then add your own tiles to fill in. Each Skeewbacker Heart Shape is also hand-cut. This is a fun shape for those who love romance. Make it on a stake for a garden or hang it on an inside wall. Great for selling at art and craft fairs.

The intricately detailed glass fusions, all made by Martin in his workshop, take his mosaics to another dimension, adding varying degrees of reflectivity and energy, something not easily obtained using traditional mosaic materials.

Backer Size: 12" on long dimension. 1/2" Thick

2 fused glass pieces handmade exclusively by Martin Cheek 8.5" x 3" each

1 Skeewbacker 12" heart mosaic backer pre-drilled for hangable and stakeable.

 You add your own background tiles.

Treatment options for edges:

 - you can paint the edges and back with paints that do not contain solvents of any kind as they will warp the board. Use latex or acrylic paints.

- you can thinset the edges

- you can grout the edges

How our color numbering system works.

The numbers of our 8mm tile are the base color numbers.

For the 12mm tile we add the prefix 1 (except for the numbers that start with 0. Then we add 0 prefix.)

Penny Rounds have the prefix 2.

Belli Buttons have the prefix 3.

Mini Rounds, prefix 4.

Large rectangles start with 5.

Mini Rectangles start with 6.

Triangles start with 7.

25mm tile start with 8.

Micro Mosaic tile start with MM, diamonds start with D, petals start with SP.
