I don't understand why there is such a huge price discrepancy between 4 x 4 sheets and 12 x 12 sheets. If I buy 3 4x4" it is much cheaper than an sq ft, why? The description and colors are as shown but I'm not a huge fan.

Our 4x4 sheets are 4' by 4', not 1/4 of a square foot. Essentially they are 1/9th of a square foot, so if you buy 3 you would not have 3/4 of a square foot, you would have 3/9 or 1/3 of a square foot. That may help explain the price difference.

As to the color, we do sell the same tile loose. And you're always welcome to send back what you don't want for a full product refund.
